Extra-Legal vehicles, other than LVCs, cannot operate between the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., EXCEPT that an OW only Vehicle/Load weighing < 110,000 lbs., and capable of maintaining a minimum speed of 40 mph on flat and 30 mph on grade, and not in excess of any other dimension is not subject to the Holiday restriction (See 2 CCR 601-4, Chapter 4, 4-1, B. 4.)

All Longer Vehicle Combinations (LVCs) are PROHIBITED from operating on Friday, July 3rd, from 12:01 a.m. through Saturday, July 4th, Independence Day 12:00 p.m. midnight - (48 hours from 12:01 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. midnight).
